Also, Charles is a managing director of the business, he isnt paid to manage the share price. Market can get ahead of itself, charles cannot be held account able for the market. Sales fell sharply and SP followed. Conversely, I did not like to see praises for Charles when SP went to 60x earnings, it wasn't his merit either.

Sales, in a cyclical business like auto/industrial etc., can and do go up and down sharply according to the cycle.
It is more meaningful to see the average trend over time rather than comparing a boom year with a burst one.
