It may not appear to be complicated to you but there is no company board which will sign off on a half billion dollar acquisition without thorough d/d which takes time - more than 30 days.
One producing mine, multiple projects at various stages of development across 2 mineral provinces. Not to mention licencing issues on one development. Management who had already aligned to OZL, private equity groups on register, cultural sensitivities in Brazil etc.
Anyone considering an acquisition in less than 30 days is a big ask.
