If you refer to my post 42981631 of 17/02/20, you will see that I suggested shareholders should look through the BGC acquisition costs, and normalise the H1 results. I mooted that the costs would be circa $3m. Well the line item, called “Transaction costs”, is $8.721m, and the Profit before tax is $46.125m. The H1FY19 comparable numbers are $0.0 and $40.288m. From a normalised perspective (removing that one-off $8.721m), we seem to have just had a fantastic H1, and the market may not have realised it today, or I have missed something.

I suggest that you reread post 4298163, and revisit the H1 accounts where you can do a Ctrl F search for the word “transaction”. You can conclude for yourself how well H1FY20 compares to H1FY19, and what H2FY20 might be. I only looked at that specific issue.

PS for Sabine. If you have a lazy $300K of oof, it might be worth taking out the current sell order of 100,000 shares at $2.98 a share at tomorrow's opening. “Oof” means money to slap down on the table – derived from German “auf” via a Yiddish saying for “On the table.” I noticed some days ago that you used "oof" in a different sense.

when you say ‘normalise the results’ do you mean deduct $8.7M ?
