The Casino license is certainly not a given for SGR, nor its reinstatement, easily awarded to any other responsible entity. Don't hold onto this notion that the loss of SGR Casino license is a negative for the NSW Govt, on the contrary, another licensee could be more responsible and operate within the new guidelines and be more profitable all around. In that event, whatever remains of SGR as some form of a REIT, well don't hold your breath for that to eventuate. SGR holders should be ever hopeful of some form of longer-term outcome from all these inquiries, all self-inflicted.
