TB is hinting that he can possibly take advantage of the well pressure of 3,459psi and by-pass the need for a cryogenic plant. And that's where I get lost because what is the plan for this N2 as it comes out of the ground at high pressure? Whack it into a tank like when you fill your BBQ tank? Compressed N2 is in tanks up to about 6,000psi (I think) so how is this a big deal.

I'd like to know more out of simple curiosity - but not an industrial chemist and don't really follow.

But yes $2/Mcf margin and its good money.... but not anytime soon though?

If there is just one thing I'm confident of, is Terry Barr can strike a deal and find buyers for the nitrogen. The demand is there for fracking.

5.3 Billion Cubic Feet = 53 Million MCF

53 Mmcf Nitrogen @ even $2 = $100 million profit,

plus the oil, plus the helium...................
