the reason I wanted to do a chart that had gold/copper and not copper/nickel/lead, is im actually a huge gold bull, im one of these people that think gold will, get to $5000/oz in the next 5-10yrs because the world is at record debt levels and the only reason the west is still growing is because interest rates are artificially low and money is so cheap, I ink the US$ will have a major fall eventually, as all that debt and low %Rates are unsustainable, the chickens will come home to roost eventually, I have my fingers crossed, when gold rallies that copper will hopefully follow even a little bit of the % gain that gold goes.
By the way, our AISC for copper at $1.60/lb, yet copper now is $2.19, that's over 30% above our AISC price, since spot copper is so much higher than the AISC, why is AVB near all time lows?
its not like AISC are $2 and copper is $2.10, we have a great buffer in terms of production costs and spot copper prices.
