Absolutely - I sometimes wonder if people "out there" - some analysts + journos - really do understand the concept of compound growth. The double digit growth that China was getting in 2003-2004 or (whenever it was) was coming on top of a GDP figure much lower than today's - where we are still seeing very nice GDP growth numbers on a much bigger "base".
I DO worry about a few things in China - property and the banking system and these "instruments" that look very much like 2008's CDOs but I also here that China is building another railway system amongst any number of other infrastructure projects.
Where copper sits in all of this, I don't profess to know, but I find it hard to imagine copper being in the doldrums forever........
