Ardiden plans to accelerate marketing and customer engagement after testwork demonstrated the ability to produce over 99.95% pure graphite, comparable to ultra-high purity synthetic graphite, from its 100%-owned Manitouwadge project in Ontario, Canada.
Ultra-high purity graphite can trade for over $US10,000/t, and Ardiden says the Manitouwadge jumbo flake samples were beneficiated using low-cost gravity and flotation methods, followed by a simple caustic bake process.
