The trial is open label and in phase II format so both ourselves and the veterinary clinicians want to know whether MPL is affecting the tumours themselves and consequently altering the dogs outcome (survival). As such there are two sides to this

1. Tumours are regressing or stable (should be measurable for many tumours)
2. As a result of (1) dogs are living longer and suffering less (again measurable)

As such some dogs will (hopefully) be on the drug for a long time implying we are altering outcomes. This will be a good announcement as the outcomes of most canine cancers in terms of median survival are well documented so all you need is a few dogs exceeding this and you are on the way!

Thanks for your quick response. I appreciate you are in the UK at the moment overseeing the Cambridge Uni trials.

Further to my query, how long will each dog be on the trial? I recall the Phase I was 14 days. Would this mean we can expect regular reporting on tumor regression/suppression every 14 days? Or will you wait until all dogs have finished in 6 months?
