I'm not sure if posters are using these 12x increase, wow, articles to deliberately mislead? It is great that ADO will possibly have a role in supporting high Si content anodes. But that's hardly the whole story. How much does the cathode weigh? What is its mAh/g?
Perhaps an end to "2000km battery" type posts where entirely erroneous maths is being done on the theoretical performance figures of only one half of the cell.
ADO tech in Si anodes fundamentally cannot make Li-ion batteries 10x better. Physics degree not required to understand that, just do basic maths on the whole cell.
