Market will punish underperformers. You cannot hold a pile of cash, not giving back to shareholders, not ready to invest when IO price were at bottom, not ready when IO price went higher, didn't upgrade on time etc.
You cannot hide for too long. But in saying that this looks like too much sell-off. It would have gone above $2 if all above happened but now in saying that SP will bounce back strongly even if IO price went below from current highs.
