I do understand the shorts quite well and in fact I do shorts as well. I was more talking about the strategy of large players. it is unique depending upon the reason to open the shorts. Clearly the shorts here driven by large players and going down from 6% to 4% does matter. It indicates it may cover on market and may not be related to any strategic acquisition with some groups. It could also be linked to recent positive news however no one knows their real intentions except them and hence large shorts are always a mystery now a days about how they use network of companies to open and close short positions.
