On 3 February I put up a table on a hc post showing that for the December quarter Microba's testing division sales net of Invivo sales was pretty much running on the spot.

So how did they fare in the March quarter?

Despite the encouraging narrative in the presentation and the quarterly report unfortunately the company's tests division continues to be near enough to that very same spot. I calculate the revenue for the March quarter ex Invivo sales - that is sales in Australia - to be $0.95m which is only a marginal improvement on what I calculated for the December quarter ex Invivo sales of $0.89m. The Invivo revenue performance also seems steady at best against the December quarter's numbers. Hmmmm.



In the quarterly report they say that sales of their more established product, MetaXplore, is up 28% on the December quarter sales. That is good but for some reason it is not showing through in the financial statements as increased revenue (I don't know: discounts?).

No doubt lots of effort also in their therapeutics business but no tangible successes for the March quarter or expected there any time soon. To get some pizazz back into this company and its share price I think it needs to have a breakout quarter from their retail business (calling it their "testing business" is a bit of an own goal imo). Unfortunately, the March quarter was not their breakout quarter.
