They've reached their breaking points. They've been staunch defenders of the company for so long its not just their trading accounts but their pride that's in the red. Being "proven" wrong time and time again by people who clearly have no idea what they're talking about is infuriating. The boys needed a win today. (not that I'm particularly disappointed with this Q)

Personally I think DT was silly to mention the deal so early in the process. Maybe he was excited and jumped the gun, maybe he felt we had a good community and wanted to give us some hope when we were feeling down, maybe he's a sicko who likes to toy with peoples emotions.
