A lot of folks are very naive regarding C&M. They assume a co just stops mining and costs magically go away; they dont. A company is liable for all sorts of termination fees for staff and contractors, all while revenue peters out as any stockpiles dwindle. As an example, CXO had to pay Lucas a $10 million termination fee.
Then, as the Li pricing gets better the company needs to ramp up, except that takes months from when the decision is made and more capital. Lots of emotional diatribe on HC. Entertaining but silly.
