Viraleze has so far been a massive distraction for the company. Circa $8m plus spent on getting it to market, only to get it slapped down by multiple regulators, pulled from shelves in the UK and fined by the TGA. Jackie Fairley will still not go anywhere near the FDA in the USA with this product for known reasons.
Viraleze still owes Starpharma millions to get into the black but is now in the equivalent of the online bargain bin with Lloyds Pharmacy in the UK being marked down in price by 50% to get sales.
This CEO and Chair have no idea.
