G'day Hitrax,

You should listen to Robert Friedland on Erik Townsend's "Smarter Markets" podcast. RF has a plan to bore huge shafts / bores into the earth down to giant granite slabs and generate huge amounts of geothermal energy to solve climate change ... an interesting concept. The tech isn't there yet.

Re MLX's QR ... a bummer for sure. Lucky the Cu assets were sold and lucky that Sn prices were high. She's an old, tired mine suffering from a lack of TLC for years.

It's going to be a progressive process to turn this ole' girl around and there will be setbacks along the way.

Reading a lot of stuff from Mark Thompson, et al, and I can't see Sn prices dropping and as such I think that whilst days like today are fraught with angst, a longer term view will yield solid returns.

Given that MLX, as one of only two pure play, Western listed Sn miners is finding things so tough, I can't see ANY meaningful hard rock Sn deposits being developed within a relevant time horizon .... and then there's the situation in Myanmar, which isn't getting better ...

I am not buying (as I am fully loaded) but I am not selling today either.
