These are calculated in advance based on current earnings not past losses also known as future earnings based on current or projected figures for revenue and margins

future underlying EBIT earnings excluding extraordinaries depreciation amortisation.
its a net earnings figure.

If you calculate PAN revenues as i did and current production and margins based on the AISC figure they released thats how you get to earnings and a PER

PER of 1.0

MCR PER was 19.9
WSA PER was 39.0
ASX200 PER av is 20.4
its a 20-30 multiple cheaper than peers

You still think PAN is valued fairly, NUTS.

They didn't. Price earnings ratio is simply price/earnings. If they are making losses then earnings = 0, therefore PER = infinity

You need another 13 years at University
