If it's 6000mg, then I think they will be quietly hoping the faster infusion will achieve clinically useful plasma concentrations for bacteraemia/sepsis.

Plus a 15-30 minute infusion would be more convenient for doctors and patients.

Also, for the first part of the trial, is it healthy volunteers, and then exposing E. coli to the urine of those individuals after infusion?

dose will most likely be 4000mg, as it’s 20x more concentrated in the urine versus 13x at 6000mg.
and plasma concentration is dosage dependant and appears to be linear.
