I think it was the council DA that actually documented the feedstock and the reagents from Orica along with some of the process steps.
I read it, but stupidly did not download it. It was gone when I went back to download it. Which makes sense as you dont want your proprietary process out there for all to see.
The beauty of SX is that it is selective for certain elements. That is where the real value of the A4N IP is. I think they have organic solvents and set of pH parameters that select Al (valency 3??). If the process is correct it doesnt matter what else is in there cause the SX will pull out only the Al.
When I first saw AUK (CLL-A4N) mention SX on the HomerVille clays I thought it was a radical idea and interesting idea. Looks to have worked out ok,
