The cleansing notice wasnt the problem. The problem is that the cleansing notice contains a declaration that youve told the market everything, and theres no other expected news.
when you make a price sensitive announcement 24 hours later stating that the SPP was oversubscribed... the ASX would like to know how you signed off that there was no other expected news just yesterday. Were you not aware that the SPP was expected to go oversubscribed?
Realistically, it shouldn't be a huge deal. If ASX decide they dont like our answers they can dig, or fine us, or whatever. Its most a warning shot than real trouble.
