Trouble is, some (including me) bought more. Given the drop appeared to be based much more on rumor and one poorly presented article, weighed up against what should have been credible direction from the company itself, it seemed a reasonable choice, but well, I think we all know what should have happened.... Now who's fault is it?
Despite me (amongst others) arguing against it's worth, it turns out the bad news we all fought against was (largely) true. So, factual information that would be price sensitive was available to the market, but it had neither been confirmed by the company, nor had a halt been in place whilst it was confirmed. No one can argue that the price drop was significant, and entirely predictable, either way the TH should have been put in place on open, and the company should certainly have checked in the morning regardless of the time difference.
