No Mk. it is a fair observation you made that those in the know that the BMX auction was about to take place were probably buying on Tuesday and probably selling the news today.
But in regards to it being a leak i can't imagine it was a leak. i would imagine PLS send an invite out to all industry players or potential buyers about the date and time of the auction and from there I'm sure that info is free to disseminate anywhere. it just so seems that there is no one here on hotcopper that gets that info about date and time ahead of time

But in terms of the BMX announcement being released after market, the announcement itself says the auction was performed 'earlier this afternoon'. industry players were only tweeting about the results of the auction on twitter at around 5-6pm from memory so i would say it was a late arvo auction. nothing dodgy about the timing of the announcement
