One of the beneficiaries of the proposed options, Melinda Snowden, is also director of WAM Leaders and Sandon Capital Investments, are they MP1 shareholders and did they get to vote? It was very arrogant to issue options with no vesting period, or other targets. The problem for Bevan is that existing directors have been showered with many free options that they have cashed in. This has been damaging for the company and reflects an autocratic style organisation. Responsible directors should not have permitted wasting shareholders funds by calling a special general meeting to reconsider the very issue that was rejected just a couple of months before, looks like self-interest was a priority above shareholder value - they might be better suited as politicians.
