I have shares in another ASX biotech that had two strikes. All of the directors were family members of the company founder. Following the second strike, there was a special shareholder meeting convened and a spill of board positions (this was in 2018 or 2019). The existing directors re-nominated and were re-elected (there were no other nominations). Since then the company has added some independent directors to the board though, so I guess the spill did have some effect eventually.
