constant spruikers constantly ignore the fact the SP is falling even on good news. Kaiser was good news but look at the SP - that points to how investors look at the BoDs and the MD. If investors lose confidence in the MD and the BoDs then SP will not take full advantage of any good news and will overreact on any poor news. And this has been the case with ALK for while now.

If people can't see this simple fact then they need to get their heads checked.

And now we wait to see Nic's 5 year plan that will probably aim to get half-way to where GMD is right now. And to remember GMD was just a spec not long ago. ALK could have bought GMD for a song... wonder what happened there.

But yes, spruikers will keep saying look how much profit ALK made for selling GMD shares.... my guess is ALK sold around 50c. Meaning ALK did not do good job even on that transaction considering where GMD trades now.

Also, the budget blowout at TGO. No one with a trace of brain believes ALK can develop NMPP on their own if they can't handle TGO which is about 10x smaller of what NMPP will most likely be.

And all that have an impact why good result from Kaiser did not do much for the SP and the thread is about ALK and not about Kaiser.

ALK owns Kaiser. Kaiser is not separate company where ALK has a share.
