    Thanks, that makes more sense. If you are deemed a NZ tax resident and have no AUS tax residency, i can't see how you need to declare anything to the ATO.
    All the best to you. Hoping to get over there early next year and will spend 2 or 3 months.
    Will put in a call to LTR today. Still having trouble understanding where their headspace is. I have two trains of thought:
    1. $3 now is as good as $4 in 2-3 years, if that's where you think we get on valuation, and selling now takes away the project execution and market risks.
    2. If you truly believe in the project and market fundamentals and believe you can execute the project, why wouldn't you continue to production and capture that extra value for shareholders?

    Both lines of thought can be heavily influenced by your age and whether your time horizon is short or long. I have very mixed feelings to be honest. Maybe the BOD does too and they are just floating the idea to the market? I worry about how they keep morale up amongst employees and contractors while this is happening and whether this will impact project execution. I'm sure this is also forefront in their minds and they are managing this.
