"Anyone Shorting this stock is looking to get seriously burned". Hmmm. Say you're a company looking to pick up SXY cheaply. The way to do that is to short it ruthlessly and relentlessly, driving the share price down. Then make an offer at an attractive "premium" and you get it all back plus ownership of SXY at a bargain price.
But of course, that can't happen, because ASIC stops everything like that. Doesn't it?
