Yeah that's pretty much exactly my thoughts. The only benefit of buying in the SPP at .022 vs. the market (not including transaction cost ofcourse) is that the funds actually go to the company and they can put them to use instead of lining some randoms pocket.
Ive said it in one of the other BAT threads and I'll say it again, I'm going to try and buy some on the market cheaper than .021. Worst case I don't manage to get any and I just buy into the SPP for .022.
I think a fair CR and SPP price would have been .025, a discount from the market price without taking nearly a third off the market price...
