Hello Lucky, I think that a company needs to have made a taxable profit which will mean paying company tax which then gains them franking credits. They can then pay a franked dividend to its shareholders from their franking reserve. I don't know if Chalice has paid company tax whilst the bulk of its activities have been in their exploration phase.,
