Mate I hear what you're saying but the bottom line is that SLR have taken on their own hedges and the potential issue going forward is a gold price north of AUD3500 by 1H 2024. It is the reason why I have warmed considerably toward WGX recently.
When will management get that hedging is fundamentally a losers game for those on the opposite side to the banks? The banks almost ALWAYS win and on many occasions win big.
There was absolutely no reason for SLR to take on additional hedges recently. NONE. I don't care if it has been slightly in the money some of the time. It served ZERO purpose.
