If they weren't ready to announce something of substance that is accurate, then it is understandable. The SP would just be pummeled more. It certainly appears worded in a way that there will be info to be shared to the market, earnings updates etc with the stock being quoted again.
Of course if it never comes back from suspension then it is all over red rover already and there isn't much anyone can do.
