Well I guess currently there is no "market" so the ASX would say they are doing their job.
On a broader note this is the biggest problem I have with the ASX: It's lack of transparency. Clearly there is a a view that less said on their part means less likelihood of repercussions. In previous debacles that have had ASX involvement (good or bad) there is never a synopsis of events released later, timings, communications, investigations and their outcomes. In this way I believe that the market in general (at least us poor public plebs) are generally always uninformed. The ASX keeps shifting their goal posts and it makes it hard to know what will trigger what next time. Especially for ST traders this makes life pretty difficult but also affects LT investors in different ways.
