Sorry..I guess for all those like M. with maybe "axes' to grind based
on possible past poor performance..any positive outlook
counts for nothing...so be it..!!
I have only limited but extremely positive association with SSN
in the past...a lot more than Mareed ..so it seems..to me
Private Equity is on the look out for productive 'conventional'
oil fields..as the U.S Shale story is now running into 'bottlenecks'
with the lack of available expertise..now slowing completion rates,
not to mention ongoing expectation of further cost break outs..
and Private Equity starting to question return rates for clients.!!
So SSN, in such circumstances...with meaningful production
within normal cost parameters/rising oil price. etc.could be worth a look...
will all know more..maybe Monday..
