When a stock is suspended all orders are purged.
Its a double edged sword because all the sell and buy side need to be rebuilt and maybe people forget or dont notice.
It means even if its good or bad news, there is no more depth initially to stop it going either way...
But even if its good and spikes any sellers into news might not have any depth left to stop it absolutely collapsing.
Cant go much lower anyway but big mistake to go into suspension unless you have no other choice IMO, and that aside its standard practice to state a time for the suspension, without it its always worrying
