I don't know what a quality assurance test consists of back then but when nothing was detected when that was done and everything was looked at etc the conclusion they came too was contamination and more importantly there was nothing in the core.

Just as much as you can argue against contamination not being the cause I guess you can say the same about the second quality assurance assays being 100% accurate and not false.

For me it is still 50/50 and hasn't sat there for 30 years and not followed up because it was or is a red hot target. At the end of the day the most responsible thing the company can do is twin the holes asap. I would be doing it first even if it meant waiting a bit longer. Until then no one knows.

Don't get me wrong it will be great for the basin if it is true and benefit other stocks I own greatly but I'm not going to lie it is too much risk for me to hold into assay results and if it comes up empty it will open below 1c imo. Too much risk for me but each to their own. GL
