Research piece: Used both the Lott and Ozlotteries app tonight as a practical exercise to play the Powerball jackpot.
both apps are easy to use - Ozlotteries strikes me as having some cool social features such as Lotto Party that i enjoyed using (I joined a syndicate for fun - shares start at $5)
While I didn’t like the additional cost for playing through Ozlotteries - the difference is fairly minor and I do think the social play aspects of the Ozlotteries app and branding make it a more sticky product (and would encourage repeat users).
this is definitely the new normal for playing lotto - the post COVID online:newsagent mix is never going to be the same.
summary: I think were gonna be just fine holders
