I see this as a good thing.
The constant arguing about whether gold or crypto is best, is gold going to be replaced by crypto, which one is best as a fiat hedge etc, is covered off beautifully by a gold backed cryptocurrency. To be part of this innovation at not at any real cost is a bonus.
