You may be correct about phoning them re other international trading. Guess everyone figures you mean USA when applying, however the wording is, "International....accounts" plural, so I figure that they do more than just the one.
And it seems they are swamped with Pensana applicants (lol), so are a little busy at the moment. Which is fine, because I intend to wait and see what Wednesday's announcement reveals before I make a move.

Short answer NO, but that is true for everybody. The switch must FIRST be made through CHESS I believe, or whom ever is holding your securities, changing from Oz to UK security holder. Once done, you trade through your Australian (ANZ) international account.
CommSec allow for an online application, but not sure about ANZ. Still may need to contact ANZ (phone/email), to make sure you jump through all the correct hoops, but do a search and see if they support an online application first - just for fun.
