This is how the May 2022 trading halt was worded up ... Considerably different to today's. I do think it is not a rights issue (right to buy more shares) .. more likely H2 related.

Request for Trading Halt

Buru Energy Limited (“Buru” or “the Company”) requests an immediate trading halt of its

securities.

Buru Energy provides the following information in accordance with ASX Listing Rule 17.1:

a) The trading halt is requested pending the release of an announcement in relation to a

rights issue;

b) The Company requests the trading halt to remain in place until the earlier of such time

as it makes an announcement to the market regarding the rights issue and the

commencement of trading on 4 May 2022; and

c) Buru is not aware of any reason why the trading halt should not be granted or of any

other information necessary to inform the market about the trading halt.
