The other possibility is that they are close to a funding solution and wanted control of the narrative. That 1 share trade at the close yesterday reduced the price by 10%. Further trading days with no news could have generated some ASX complexities regarding share price that could possibly hinder the close of negotiations. A trading halt was the easiest way to prevent a spanner in the works, this being the case an extension to the halt is likely.
The other possibility is that they are close to a funding...
