To the to and fro-

We’ve been waiting for millennia for everyone to ‘just get along’. The truth is there will always be friction between every human on the planet. Let’s remember… we even need a bit of friction to make a baby!

The only thing that changes over time is who is friends/opponents with who and all jokes aside Australia has more minerals than industry, Japan has more industry than minerals.

Working together can only lift both countries up.

Our friends in China etc can benefit by seeing what a positive relationship can do for everyone involved.

To the notes on what might come from a partnership?
Perhaps the FIRB’s caution regarding ownership is part of the reason to have two companies coming to us. They can each own an acceptable ( to the FIRB etc ), portion of our projects and thanks to being part of Japan Inc., they can use the minerals in a useful way to themselves but also the Japanese economy as well ( hey, every little bit helps! ).

It often helps to consider what are the possible negatives in a proposal and it’s quite hard to find any real negative to ARL, Sumitomo, Mitsubishi ( and our two governments), working together.

Aussie minerals can help power Japanese industry, Japanese industry can help extract the wealth from
those minerals for Australia. Remember- those minerals are no benefit to anyone including the Aussie people if they stay in the ground.

Mining revenue means more money for Aussie schools, hospitals and everything else. Industrial revenue does the same for the Japanese people.
