It has been a long wait!! I guess a few more days won't kill me. I initially thought why the halt, it is either a yea or a nay. But Brian is a cunning Exec Chair. I reckon he'll be using this to:

1. Finalize financing to start mine development asap
2. Strengthen AAU's case for further mining concessions from Cuban govt.
3. Bring the Joint Venture with the Government's Mining Company, Geo Minera to 50:50
4. Further develop the establishment of JV with a large mining entity.

There is going to be a tsunami number of coming announcements. Brian has a long and distinguished career in the mining industry and AAU will be the acme of such a career. I trust Brian implicitly to deliver for all us shareholders. He has staked not only his own money but his reputation. I think that the criticisms he has been getting on HC recently have been unjustified.

The ducks are lining up nicely for AAU. Au & Cu are in the early stages of a boom market. The majors such as BHP are hungerly looking to acquire copper assets. EVN recently acquired 80%(?) of the North Parkes copper mine. Cuba is rich in these commodities. AAU is in the right place at the right time.
