Speaking of the Middle East, there was an article that appeared in The Australian recently (no link provided because it was hiding behind a paywall) stating that water was at the centre of an Australian-Iranian trade deal.

The article talked about the commercial opportunities available for Australian companies willing to help Iran use its precious water resources more efficiently. 30-40% of Iran's water resources have been lost so far with the Australian trade minister quoted as saying that the MOU between the two governments would allow Australian technology to improve Iran's water management being valued in the millions of dollars.

The Iranian energy minister was quoted as saying that there were similarities in the climate between Australia and Iran and that Iran has been in drought for the past 15 years.

The GM of a company called Rubicon Water was quoted as saying the Iranian water management market could be worth hundreds of millions of dollars going forward.

This is yet another big potential growth market for PEH given how scarce water resources are in the Middle East and how Iran is just coming back into the fold after years of Western-backed sanctions.
