Here is more color from Taylor Dart, the best analyst in the gold/silver/royalty co. space on NEM w a lot of good points and discussions, he is long and would add, sees US$49 fair value in 2025; also the buybacks are actually better for AUS folks right because no matter what even if you filed the paperwork you still get whacked for 15% on your div, so them coming in to support the shares w buybacks might be better unless you needed the income to live off of; I like the buybacks post mergers in the gold space because they dilute when they merge w all the shares and reducing them helps our NAV. Agnico (AEM US, CA) is great at this, after Kirkland Lake buy (Fosterville etc) they bought back shares.

PS I am still whining and pining for my Newcrest!! dam you Newmont. NCM was a core for me, oh well, guess Newmont thought so too.. and Freeport the big copper co should have bought it, stupid company, to diversify.
