the reason Newcrest was so excited over Red Chris and to bring its expertise there was Red Chris was similar in geology to Cadia..and Newmont's GT Gold buy of Saddle North presentation sees Saddle North as potentially another Red Chris, Cadia monster, that was why Newmont bought it. You have to wonder if Newmont was plotting ahead to dominate B.C. CA thinking lets get GT Gold, we have the Teck JV w Galore another monster potential mine, and we have Red Chris, Brucejack from Newcrest! Anyway NEM has them all now. Amazing, the synergies, plus the Yukon project north of these.
Not sure if you can access this SA article showing the GT Gold presentation, but on Page 18 of 24 they compare Red Chris, Cadia and Saddle North. Happily long NEM and have added on current weakness.
