I don't blame the Co-Sec - I do have some experience with this, and I can tell you that dealing with the ASX is a shifting target, and quite often it comes down to what the particular Listing Officer responsible for the company interprets the rules as. Quite literally an announcement released by one company and waved through by the ASX, would not get by in another company's case with a different Listing Officer! Whilst we can argue that the rules are black & white, unfortunately the interpretation and application of them is not always so. I support what the Company's done here - I would much rather they stood their ground with the ASX and waited until the matters were no longer commercial-in-confidence, than jeopardised our commercial interests by disclosing too much. This is a really fine balance between Continuous Disclosure obligations and the ASX's insistence sometimes in telling everything. In any case, I'm a long-term holder with no intention to sell, so don't really mind that we're in suspension...
