To compare Tanzania to Australia. I think in the last 12 months, the Eyre Highway (the only sealed road between South Australia and Western Australia) has been closed twice, the Great Northern Highway (the only other sealed road out of Western Australia) has been closed once, and the Bruce Highway (the main highway to far north Queensland) has also been closed at least once by various extreme weather events. The Trans-Australian Railway was also washed away at least once.These closures caused days of lost productivity, followed by weeks of supply chain recovery. Why should we think the main north-south highway in Tanzania should be that much different?
Tanzania has not called for international assistance in flood relief or engineering assistance, so it must be within normal repair capacity.
I hold shares in two Australian companies with Tanzanian graphite projects. I feel a lot less concern about WKT than I do about MNS. Talk about dreams and rainbows doesn't belong on this thread.
