Apensu: mining grade 2.1 g/t - grade of remaining ore 3.0g/t
pit depth in 2010 (180m) Final pit depth planned (244m)
Awonsu: mining grade 1.54 g/t - grade of remaining ore 1.38g/t
pit depth in 2010 (80m) Final pit depth planned (208m)
Amoma: mining grade 1.28 g/t - grade of remaining ore 1.45g/t
pit depth in 2010 (28m) Final pit depth planned (120m)
Subika: mining grade 2.05 g/t - grade of remaining ore 2.2g/t
pit depth in 2010 (192m) Final pit depth planned (372m)
So some deep pits here. Subika was planned to go to 372m in 2010.
Remember Cardinal's RC drill holes all seemed to be drilled at a shallow dip (-45 degrees) which means even their deep holes (which in the last round of drilling only went to 145m maximum) are quite shallow. 145m at a dip of -45 degrees equates to a vertical depth of 102.5m.
Most of their holes are much shallower which could mean their drill rig doesn't have enough air or the ground is giving problems.
Apart from the 145m hole (announced in the latest announcement) the other 15 holes drilled at a -45 degree dip have an average down hole depth of 75.8m. That's very shallow and equates to an average vertical depth of 53.6m.
53.6m is a long way off the pit depths quoted above. We just need a few better grades at depth to lift our spirits. Grades are a little low so far to get super excited in my opinion. Hopefully they increase with depth as the company has sort of indicated in their maiden diamond hole announcement.

Thanks Eshmun. Gold 5000 mentioned the
holes were caving in at depth.
Is this likely due to this angle of drilling or
softer ground, or other potential factors?
Thanks
