More than half of my BPT holdings were bought at an average price of 75 cents 6.5 years ago. BPT at that time was trading in the 60 cents to $1 range and had a capital raising at 75 cents.
Those 75 cents are now earning 4 cents dividend per year plus 100% capital gain. What is so bad about that return even at current woeful BPT share price. The main stumbling block right now that is holding BPT share price is the remidial works to fix quality issues. These remidial works are being carried out by 300 workers at Waitsia Stage 2 working 11 hour shifts. I think it will take a few months to do the fix.
I also bought some BPT shares at over $2. I am not happy with those shares. I took the risk and it is just too bad. Hope you don’t feel too bad once BPT reach $2!
